3rdKnight Entertainment, LLC is a company that utilizes music entertainment and motivational speaking to impact the lives of youth (ages 13-18); encouraging them to set goals, aim high, and overcome adversities in life.

 “Unfortunately, the youth of today are discriminated against…sometimes viewed as rebellious and ignorant.” states Gus J. Knight III, President of 3rdKnight Entertainment.  “We have a passion to reach the youth…teaching them to make positive choices in life.”

The vision of 3rdKnight Entertainment was initially given to Gus J. Knight III in the winter of 2000. While attending SUNY Brockport, Gus later met Shanta who encouraged him to pursue this vision. Shortly after the two married, she agreed to join 3rdKnight Entertainment where she resides as Vice President.  The company was first established in 2003, promoting their premier recording artist “Jeremiah Militant” of Rochester, NY.  Jeremiah has been involved in the music industry for more than 12 years, and currently has a CD circulating internationally titled, “Capture Ya Dreams”.

The “Capture Ya Dreams Project”, inspired by the audio CD, is the company’s first motivational speaking project formed.  This has already been done in a number of schools in the Rochester, NY area; including Josh Lofton High School.  The project has proven successful in its attempt to challenge & motivate the youth to evaluate their dreams while setting goals.

The two entrepreneurs have been married for two years. Gus J. Knight III (23) & Shanta C. Knight (20) conduct business together as partners. As a team, they are determined to effectively reach the youth of every cultural & ethnic background.

3rdKnight Entertainment, LLC is currently formulating a company newsletter that will reach their existing customers and supporting network. In addition, they are conducting market research in order to make their presence known throughout the entertainment & public speaking industry. The company is also in the developmental stages of expanding their business by offering manufactured products & service upgrades, which include expanding their motivational speaking portfolio.

"SCORE initially helped us with business preparation in the beginning of January 2005,” states Shanta.  “They have also provided us with a basic outline to conduct Market Research and Public Relations. In addition, they have provided us with several points of contact including legal, accounting and insurance. SCORE has encouraged us to pursue our vision while gaining practical business skills.

"The future looks very bright for our company. We expect to provide both employment and volunteer opportunities for teenagers and adults of all races and ethnic backgrounds. Our vision is steadfast, establishing a strong influence upon our existing community. Throughout the world, we see ourselves leading a generation of talented Musicians, Recording Artists and Motivational Speakers.”

An Informational Meeting was held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Rochester, NY on May 7, 2005, introducing 3rdKnight Entertainment, LLC to the public. President Gus J. Knight III provided the guests with a detailed presentation of what 3rdKnight Entertainment expects to accomplish today and in the future.
