Member Awards

Periodically the Rochester SCORE chapter recognizes some of its members or other contributors to the SCORE programs at one of our monthly meetings. These recognitions include awards for exceptional service, for years of membership in SCORE or for special activities. This page documents those occasions.

Howard Daly receives the SCORE Platinum Leadership Award from Tony Carlisi, chapter chair. This is the highest national award that can be given by the association. The volunteer receiving it shall have demonstrated meritorious service and made a significant contribution to SCORE. With Howard is his wife, Julie. This presentation was made at the December, 2007 chapter meeting.

Bob Zinnecker receives the SCORE Gold Member Award from Tony Carlisi, chapter chair. To be eligible for this award, a volunteer must have provided a minimum of seven years of distinguished service and made an exceptional contribution to the chapter and the association through activities such as workshop participation, administrative roles, community service and outreach programs. With Bob is his wife, Elaine. This presentation was made at the December, 2007 chapter meeting.

Bob Longyear receives recognition from Tony Carlisi, chapter chair, for ten years as a SCORE Counselor. With Bob is his wife, Christine. This presentation was made at the December, 2007 chapter meeting.

SCORE member C. Benn Forsyth was the speaker at the December SCORE meeting. The subject of his slide talk was The Genesee from Beginning to End, a photographic tour of the Genesee River.

Tammi Bennett, SBA Program Support Assistant, received a Recognition Award for excellent cooperation from Tony Carlisi, chapter chair. This presentation was made at the December, 2007 chapter meeting.

2008 Member Awards

The Platinum Leadership Award
The SCORE Platinum Leadership Award is the highest national award that can be given by the association. The volunteer receiving it shall have demonstrated meritorious service and made a significant contribution to SCORE. The Gold Member Award

The Distinguished Service Award
This award honors SCORE volunteers and paid or volunteer chapter support personnel who have provided excellent service to their chapters in areas such as workshops, public relations, computers, marketing, recruiting andadministrative support. The following SCORE members received this award at the December 2008 chapter meeting: Jack Dailey, Doug Mabon and Amrut Patel.

Service Award
This award is given to SCORE members after they have served as members for a given number of years. The following SCORE members received this award at the December 2008 chapter meeting:
