SCORE provides professional guidance and information to America’s small business in order to strengthen the local and national economy.
SCORE provides free counseling and low cost seminars and workshops. Working and retired professionals and business owners donate their time as counselors. Each client is matched with a counselor (or a team) experienced in the area of the client's need. SCORE counseling is always confidential and can continue for extended periods of time, if required.
Although every person starting a business is unique and every business is unique the business principles that determine the success of a business are not. By meeting with a sympathetic seasoned professional, an entrepreneur can expedite business development and overcome common obstacles. After evaluating the business expertise of the business owner, the counselor may recommend SCORE workshops.
SCORE counselors also volunteer to conduct email counseling directly from their homes or offices.
